I was born in Wilmington, DE to a loving, working class family. I worked my way through college, earning a degree in Sociology from the University of Delaware. Like many of my generation I wanted to save the world. I chose to work with the poor as a social worker. I eventually became a supervisor and then a professional trainer, which I both excelled at and loved to do.
Due to sports injuries and car accidents I've suffered from chronic back and neck pain since childhood. In 1987 I got my first professional massage. It was quite remarkable. For the first time in many years I didn't hurt. It was like a very distant memory to a time in my life when I was pain free. I knew then and there that I was going to become a massage therapist and help people through massage. The following year I enrolled in massage school.
Currently I still offer both massage services and training seminars.
I live with the love of my life (lucky me) in Wilmington, Delaware. I enjoy hiking and camping, traveling, watching movies, and listening and playing music (amateur drummer). I'm also an avid gardener (to see some pics of flowers I've grown click here)
